Restoration Publishing LLC was founded in 2026 in Mays Landing, New Jersey, out of a simple but stubborn belief: that every author with a message worth sharing deserves a trustworthy partner to help them share it well.
Our founder learned the publishing world the hard way — by living it. Through the experience of writing and publishing his own books, he discovered just how overwhelming, confusing, and expensive the process can be, and how many authors are taken advantage of along the way.
Rather than walk away, he became a professional in the industry — mastering editing, design, distribution, and marketing so that other authors would never have to feel lost or exploited. Restoration Publishing LLC is the result.

Founder & Publisher
Joseph is an author, publisher, and advocate whose background spans health and wellness, leadership, and Christian ministry. It was through writing and publishing his own books that he came face to face with the steep learning curve authors endure — and resolved to make it easier for others.
Today he leads Restoration Publishing LLC with a servant's heart and a professional's standard, guiding authors through every stage with clarity, honesty, and genuine care. His own titles, Restoring the Wounded and Out of Rows and Into Circles, reflect the same convictions that shape the company.
He is joined in the work by his wife, Barbie Simmons, a former educator whose gift for teaching and encouragement helps authors feel supported and understood throughout their publishing journey.
